After years of wanting to check out this show, I finally was able to watch season one in its entirety recently. It lived up to the hype and had me engrossed in the show, the characters and the stories. While I do have a minor issue about how they portray the characters of the law; how they are either corrupt or jackasses out to beat on the bad guys. That being said, it is still a solid show and one that will keep you entertained throughout, even through the predict plotlines. Charlie Hunnam (aka Llyod from Undeclared) is perfectly casted as Jax, the VP of the club and soon to be president, who wants to take the club in a new direction especially after his son is born. Ron Perlman, and Katey Sagal (Peg Bundy herself) are both incredible as Jax’s step-father and mother. Perlman is also the aging president of the club, who is more old-school in his approach. Throw in some solid, wacky characters, such as the Scotsman, Juice, Bobby Elvis, the Prospect, and Opie (played by Ryan Hurst, Gerry from Remember the Titans). Also, keep your eyes open for Adrianna from the Sopranos, who is a recurring character. All in all, the show lived up to the hype and now, I am ready for season 2.
